At the foot of the mountains of Kabul, a war hero lies in a coma ; his young wife to his bedside and prays to bring him back to life. The civil war tearing the city ; the fighters are at their door. The woman needs to flee with her two children, abandon her husband and flee to the other end of the city, in a brothel kept by her aunt. Back with her husband, she is forced to love by a young fighter. Against all expectations, it reveals itself, becomes aware of his body, frees his word to confide to her husband about his memories, his most intimate desires… Up to its shameful secrets. Man lying becomes, despite himself, his “syngué sabour”, a stone of patience – this magic stone that is placed before him to blow him all his secrets, his misfortunes, his misery… Until it explodes !

Anecdotes :

The film was shot in 6 weeks, including one in Kabul for some of the outdoor scenes a day, and five in Morocco, in an old cement factory in the district of Roches noires in Casablanca. The choice of Morocco has been guided by the requirements of safety, cost optimization, and technical difficulties.
