Here’s a first trailer for the animated film Number 9…
The pitch : In the near future, Earth has been ravaged by a great war between the men and the powerful machines they had created. Knowing humanity is doomed, a scientist created 9 small creatures, fragile and helpless from a variety of objects picked up in the rubble. Unable to oppose the machines, they formed a small community surviving from day to day in the rubble. But the last-born of this family, the Number 9 has a mission. He holds within him the key to their survival and will have to convince his comrades to leave their refuge of fortune to venture to the heart of the kingdom of machines. What they will discover in the path represents what may be the last hope of Humanity.
The film was directed and written by Shane Acker , who made this film his first. Levels of the original speakers voice, we find Elijah Wood, Jennifer Connelly, Crispin Glover, Martin Landau and Christopher Plummer. Ah yes, I forgot the small detail that has its importance, the film has been produced by a certain Tim Burton (Sweeney Todd, The Wedding Funeral, Charlie And The Chocolate factory).
