Presenting a short film at the Cannes film Festival

Even if there will always be a few people to think the opposite, having a film selected at the Festival de Cannes is a form of consecration for a director. If all projectors are focused on the competition of feature films, before the first prestigious, and the red carpet, there is still room for much more of the world than it seems. The short films may be presented at the Short Film Corner, equivalent to the film market for short films and… in the official competition ! Read below to learn a little more information on these two opportunities for filmmakers of short films.

Short film Corner

The Short Film Corner is therefore equivalent to the film market for short films. It is a space dedicated to meetings, exchanges and the promotion of the short film. At the Short Film Corner, producers, but also the young filmmakers will be able to attend conferences, workshops and other events to facilitate the meetings. The Short Film Corner provides access to full movies and allows you to show your film to the various people present.

In addition, the accreditation for the Short Film Corner is considered an accreditation for the festival and allows access to the different projections. The Short Film Corner is held, moreover, from 15 to 26 may 2013, as the Festival. More information here.
