Studio Ciné Live #16 / June 2010

Here is a summary of the last Studio Ciné Live

The June issue 2010 of Studio Ciné Live is a bit special. First of all, because it is a number reserved for a large party at the 63rd Cannes film Festival, which runs from 12 to 23 may 2010. And then, because he must admit, the cover is tempting, it will even say horny (like a bow… Robin hood, all that… OK…) : Russell Crowe in a bad guy suit/tie, it always makes its small print.

Past this light and pungent detail, the editorial of Fabrice Leclerc announces a certain color, magazine / editorial being “too brainy for some people and too dumb for the other”, it will let you read all about it.

It landed on the page 16, and a stop image on the International Film Festival of Animation of Annecy , which this year celebrates its 50 years and will happen from 7 to 12 June 2010. The opportunity to go through, via drawings, this large event.

Then comes “ze” folder, that of Cannes, of course. No fewer than 43 pages of reading, including a round-up of some of the films in competition, the jury of the festival, an overview of all the films in the official selection, the program sections in A Certain Regard, Directors ‘Fortnight and Critics’ Week, a little rundown on the short film and to finish in beauty, the magazine offers you info on and off of the festival. In short, everything to spend a good couple of minutes !

It should be noted a portrait of 3 pages of Mamoru Hosoda (The Crossing Time) – page 118 – the worthy challenger of studios Ghibli.

Page 122, to a survey, one of the favorite actors of the French. Everything is scrutinized : the French actors and foreign actors, both French and foreign. This survey is followed by a small interview with a sociologist of the cinema, in order to synthesize the whole.

DisneyNature, a parallel branch to the empire of Disney. Studio Ciné Live has decoded the structure – pages 128 to 133, and has sent journalists to spend a week on the filming of two feature films produced by the subsidiary, Cats and Chimpanzee.

Since the Blog of the Film also deals with the TV series, it will be page 148 to follow a journalist in the studio Warner Bros , which organized a round table around its 13 series : Mentalist, Fringe, The Big Bang Theory, etc

Gérard Depardieu in the face to readers of Studio Ciné Live, it’s on page 162. The interview paints a portrait of both serene and tortured.

Next appointment for Studio Cine Live on June 23 with Toy Story 3, Shrek 4, Millennium 2 and Predators !
