Initially, only the first volume had to be adapted on the big screen, the release of Yellow Bird, the production company, is more explanatory : “The success of the movie, The Men who did not love women ” is confirmed, with more than 1.5 million visitors in the cinemas of Scandinavia. It is now certain that The Girl who dreamed of a can of gasoline and a match and The Queen in the palace of the air currents will also be adapted to the cinema”.
The second part will be released mid-September 2009, while the third and last to be released end of November 2009. The first chapter, Millennium, will be on screens in france on the 13 may 2009.
