Original creation from Netflix, THE KING of David Michôd has 2 new recruits, in the person of Robert Pattinson and Lily-Rose Depp.
After The Rover in 2014 – already with Robert Pattinson – and War Machine in 2017 – creating original Netflix with Brad Pitt – director David Michôd returns with THE KING, a historical film that focuses on the life of the famous king of England, Henry V, and inspired by Shakespeare.
Of the names were already in the casting : Timothy Chalamet (Call me by your name, Hostile), who propose the king, Joel Edgerton, Ben Mendelsohn, Sean Harris, Tom Glynn-Carney and Thomasin Harcourt-McKenzie.
And here are two other names that add to the film, for which shooting begins tomorrow : Robert Pattinson, who will play a dolphin-French and Lily-Rose Depp , who will be the princess French Catherine.
The whole is produced by Porchlight Films and Plan B, the production box to Brad Pitt.
THE KING will be on Netflix in early 2019.
