The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) provides assistance through mentorship, academic programs, financial assistance, counseling/advising, and other campus support services to those who are first-generation college students, and/or from low-income and educationally disadvantaged backgrounds.

How do you qualify for EOP Berkeley?

Undergraduates who meet one or more of the following criteria are considered EOP:

  1. Low-income: Pell Grant or Dream Act Scholarship eligible as verified by the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office.
  2. First-generation College Student: Parent(s) have not graduated from a four-year college or university in the United States.
