What is model paint wash?
Model Wash is a range of washes created with a unique water-based formula. Model Wash can be applied by brush and airbrush and dries very quickly so that after some 20 minutes the painting or weathering process can be continued. Painting tools are cleaned with water.
What paint color hides dirt the best?
White. White cars are one of the most common on the road because of their clean look. There’s a good reason for that! They’re excellent at concealing dust, grime, and water stains—as long as you’re not driving on dirt or red clay roads.
What happens if you paint a dusty wall?

What is a pin wash?
A pinwash is a much more targeted wash where you use a fine brush and carefully apply the thin, dark paint to small areas like rivets, lines, etc. This is as opposed to a wash which is generally applied to the whole model with a wide brush.
How do you clean a rusted tank chassis?
Just get some water on the small area you want to work on and rub the paint off. Shade/start the grime What we have now is a very clean, very rusted tank chassis. There’s no mud or grime (yet). To start building some of that up on the armoured panels, I like to use a brown Ink to give the panels some depth.
What kind of paint is used for a wash?

What colour should I paint my tank tracks?
Most tank tracks start out a dark dull metal colour. I chose Tamiya Nato Black XF-69 for the colour. Other modellers have recommended Vallejo Track Primer or Oily Steel colours. However, very little of this base colour will be visible and the Nato Black is a good match for the rubber treads on the tracks, so I prefer this colour overall.
Can I use storm water to clean my paint?
When water is plentiful, some painters wash their tools outside with a hose without considering where the wash water is going. As an environmentally friendly contractor, Ecopainting places great importance to the issue of paint waste. Pouring paint and paint contaminated water into the storm water drainage system is environmentally irresponsible.
