What happens if you miss weight Naga?
If you do not make the weight you registered for, you will not be disqualified. You will be moved to the weight class based on what you weighed at the event. You are only required to weigh-in once, even if you weigh-in the night before the event.

Who gets a belt at Naga?
One belt can be won per tournament unless you win the absolute(s). If you win your adult no-gi expert division, purple belt, and absolute expert you would be awarded two belts. If you won expert no-gi and purple belt, you would be awarded one belt and a gold medal for the other win.
Is Naga only no-gi?

Can purple belts knee bar?
Please select another video. In most jiu-jitsu competitions the only leglock that is permitted for blue and purple belts is the straight ankle lock. Ankle locks, kneebars, toeholds were all fair game, and even reaping the leg was permitted.
Can you wear wrestling shoes in Naga?
ATTIRE: No-Gi At a minimum a groin protector (males), mouthpiece, and shorts with a drawstring must be worn, no pockets on the shorts (Velcro pockets on board shorts are allowed) Wrestling/Martial Arts shoes are allowed.

Do I have to be on a team to compete Naga?
You do not have to be on a team in order to compete at a NAGA event. When you create your Smoothcomp profile you will still need to list something in the School field. If you do not have a team affiliation, type in NO TEAM, choose that entry and you will satisfy that part of the profile creation.
