Who is HBK’s CEO?
David Haley has been associated with HBK since 1994 and is a Managing Director. David serves as President of the firm, with responsibility for all of the firm’s operations. He also serves as Chair of the firm’s Risk Management Committee.
Where are HBK hedge funds located?
In 1995, HBK launched an offshore fund and first accepted capital from new investors, and the firm reorganized into a more typical hedge fund structure. In May 1998, HBK moved its headquarters from Fort Worth to Dallas. Today, the firm’s primary office remains in Dallas, with other offices located in New York, London and Charlottesville.
Who is HBK’s Chief Risk Officer?
Matt Leffers has been associated with HBK since 2004 and serves as Chief Risk Officer, with primary responsibility for HBK’s risk management function and providing related support to the firm’s co-Chief Investment Officers. From 2004 to 2018, he served first as an analyst and then as a manager on HBK’s risk management team.
