What times does the ferry run to Put-in-Bay?
The Miller Ferry runs every day, every half hour, rain or shine, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Their schedule is regulated by PUCO so you can be sure of the schedule times unless there is a serious weather event.
Can you drive cars on Put-in-Bay?
Cars, motorcycles, RVs, and boats on trailers are all welcome aboard Miller Ferries to Put-in-Bay and Middle Bass Island. Our goal is to provide you safe, convenient and reliable ferry transportation. Vehicles must be turned off while on board the ferries.
Can I bring my car to Put-in-Bay?
We strongly recommend that you do NOT bring your car to Put-in-Bay. When you Visit Put-in-Bay Golf Carts are available to rent and are the most common method of transportation. Put-in-Bay Golf Cart Reservations are suggested and may be made online in advance of your trip.

The Miller Ferry offer the lowest fares for any ferry service to Put-in-Bay. One way passenger tickets are $7.50 for adults, $1.50 for children aged 6-11 and kid under 6 ride for free. Vehicle tickets are $18.00 for cars, $16.00 for motorcycles and $2.00 for bicycles.
Is Put-in-Bay open now?
Can I bring my golf cart to Put-in-Bay?
No. Golf carts on Put-in-Bay must be inspected by the Put-in-Bay Police Department, titled “island use only” and have license plates. This process is time-consuming and inspections and title services may not be available during peak times.
Can you walk Put-in-Bay?
Put-in-Bay is Great for Walking Put-in-Bay, South Bass Island’s main town, is only one square mile in size and everything is within easy walking distance. In fact walking is the preferred mode of transportation on the island next to golf carts.
