The director of the franco-Spanish Christian Poveda passed away at the age of 53 years…

He was killed in el Salvador on 2 September 2009. His body was found with several bullets in the head in a car between Apopa and Tonacatepeque while he was on a documentary on the 18th Street Gang.

We will remember him as a photo-reporter, documentary filmmaker extraordinaire, but also a producer of the film. His one and only, La Vida Loca, which will be released on our screens on September 30, 2009.
