How far is bullfrog from Wahweap?
about 100 miles
It’s about 100 miles from Wahweap to Bullfrog. If you can average 20-25 MPH, it’s 4-5 hours without stopping. I wouldn’t waste the time and gas. For a long trip, much better to explore the Escalante side canyons, but even that is pushing it.
Where to stop between Bullfrog and Wahweap Marina?
Dangling Rope is a floating marina accessible only by boat. It has large fuel docks and a store for basic provisions including ice and beer. It is major stop halfway between Bullfrog and Wahweap marina. You can also deposit your trash there too. In August the dock was open till 7:00.
Where is the marina on the gas island?
It is on the far outside gas island. The marina is split in two main docks next to each other so make sure which one yours is for check in. After check in it’s time to load.
