The musician and actor Michael Jackson has just died at the age of 50 years…
Michael Joseph Jackson was an author-composer-performer, dancer-choreographer, poet, businessman but also an actor. He has released five albums studio appearing among the most sold in the world : Off the Wall (1979), Thriller (1982), Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991) and HIStory (1995).
His music videos have been made by the greatest such as Bad, directed by Martin Scorsese or Thriller by John Landis. Note Ghosts also, a short film of 40 minutes directed by Stan Winston and produced by the star itself.
Finally, his appearances in the cinema : Bugsy Malone by Alan Parker (1976), The Wiz by Sidney Lumet (1978), “Captain EO” from Francis Ford Coppola (1986) or Men In Black II by Barry Sonnenfeld (2002).
With over 230 awards, Michael Jackson was the man most rewarded of history, the most being in the music field.
On June 25, 2009, he was in his home in Los Angeles neighborhood of Bel-Air. A little before 13: 00 local time, the firefighters of the Los Angeles Fire Department received a call announcing that he had had a cardiac arrest. On site, the paramedics see a doctor perform a cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Michael Jackson, in a state of full cardiac arrest, was rushed to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, where he arrived six minutes later. Despite attempts at resuscitation, his death will be pronounced at 14.30 but it was made official that late. An investigation of the Los Angeles department of robberies and killings is being conducted and an autopsy is scheduled today, June 26, 2009, in order to determine the real causes of his death.
