Do I have to wear a mask at Brevard Zoo?
MASK POLICY The Zoo is primarily an outdoor experience, and masks are not required. However, we strongly recommend all guests bring a mask to wear in indoor areas (such as restrooms, administration and our retail store) and, if unvaccinated, in outdoor areas when social distancing is not possible.
Do I need reservations for Brevard Zoo?
Members do not need a reservation prior to visiting. Non-members should purchase tickets online prior to your visit to guarantee admission. Walk-up guests are not guaranteed admission, and a $2-per-ticket surcharge is applied to tickets purchased onsite. Click here to review our visitor guidelines.
How much does it cost to get into the Brevard Zoo?
Call (321) 254-WILD or visit brevardzoo.org. Admission $14.50/Adults 13 and older; $13.50/Seniors ages 65+; $10.50/Children ages 2–12; and, FREE to children under two. Parking is always free.
Can you smoke at the Brevard Zoo?
The Zoo is a smoke-free facility. Smoking and vaping are only permitted in the parking lot.
Can you bring food into the Brevard Zoo?
Food and Drink Outside food and alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the Zoo. One non-alcoholic beverage is permitted per guest, but lids and straws must be removed prior to entry. (Lids may remain on hot beverages.) Coolers may not be brought inside the Zoo.
Does Brevard Zoo have elephants?
Brevard Zoo won’t be getting any of the elephants, though. They lack the facilities and the funding. But the center will be a place where zoo staff from throughout North America can get training in proper care and medical treatment for elephants and how to handle them in captivity.
How long does it take to do the Brevard Zoo?

Though she is our only bear right now, we can accommodate an additional two to three individuals if the need arises. This space was designed with animal wellness in mind and features pools, trees, boulders and other elements that encourage natural behavior.
