How often should mepilex ag be changed?
The Mepilex® Ag foam dressing can stay in place up to seven days. Only the outer dressing (gauze bandage) needs to be changed each day. Keep the dressing dry.

The dressing is also water resistant to allow the patients to shower. Mepilex® Border Flex may be left in place up to 7 days, depending on the condition of the wound and surrounding skin, or as indicated by accepted clinical practice.

If required Mepilex Ag may be cut to size or shape before removal of the protective film. Once in position the dressing may be held in place with a bandage or other suitable retention aid.
