Right-click the Start button and select Device Manager.
Select any item within the Device Manager. Then,open the Action menu and select Add legacy hardware.
Select Next on the Welcome to the Add Hardware Wizard screen.
Pick the Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced) option and select Next.
Pick Sound,video and game controllers as the hardware type and select Next.
Select the audio manufacturer from the list to the left of the screen. Then,select the model from the right side.
Select Next again to install the audio device.
Select Finish to complete the installation process.
Restart your computer.

Type devmgmt.msc i n the Run box and click OK to open Device Manager.
Expand the category Sound,video and game controllers.
Right-click on the sound device and click Uninstall device (in some cases,this could be just Uninstall). In the below example,the sound device is Realtek High Definition Audio.
On the Uninstall confirm dialog box,select the Delete the driver software for this device option,then click Uninstall.
Restart your computer. The audio device driver will be reinstalled automatically.
