Why is the Toronto Star newspaper room closed?

The Toronto Star Newspaper Room will be closed on Saturday, November 13th. Due to ongoing elevator maintenance, some closed stacks material is not currently accessible. Library staff will notify you if the item you have requested cannot be fulfilled at this time. The branch is closed until early 2022 for reconstruction and expansion.
