Is shinny open in Toronto?

In 1931, when the Canadian Lacrosse Association chose the Box game as its new form of play, the Mimico Lacrosse Club built an outdoor box at the corner of Church Street (Royal York) and Drummond Street, where the game has been played continuously until today.
Is curling allowed in Toronto?
The City of Toronto has 3 Curling facilities that it owns and operates. In 2015, the City of Toronto has also partnered with the Toronto Curling Association to bring curling to two outdoor rinks this winter. Specific event schedules will be posted at the two rinks.
Is shinny allowed?
You must be 18+ to participate in Adult Shinny. Due to the age min requirement, you may be requested to provide I.D. as proof of eligibility to participate in Shinny Hockey. Selling of Shinny Admission Passes will commence 45 minutes prior to the Shinny start time.

Why was Kew rink locked on Friday?
On Friday, with 15 degrees and bright sunshine, the ice was covered by a thin layer of water at 12 noon, but that was not different than some other nearby rinks that were open. Yet Kew Rink was locked, with a sign on the gate saying the reason for closing was “soft ice conditions.”
