By film-event, we mean not only a film about the career of the king of Pop but also the inevitable and famous and unknown scenes of repetitions performed for his concerts in London.
Suffice to say that Sony has done a super good deal in acquiring these images of rehearsals, tours, 2 days before the death of Michael Jackson. The cost ? $ 60 million, and that’s it !
After the equally famous website TMZ, the Jackson family would recapture 90% of the profits from this film.
According to other sources, the movie should be out on October 28, 2009, 2 days before the american release scheduled for October 30, 2009 (the outputs US being on Friday and not Wednesday).
The public will be there at the rendezvous of this movie ? It will have to wait a few more months to find out.
