Anecdotes

• This movie that makes it a tribute parody of the films of science fiction, horror and B-series was a commercial failure at the time of its release. • The episode Creatures of the night Cold Case makes openly tribute to The Rocky Horror Picture Show, drawing inspiration from its frame, and the scandal it caused among the moralists conservatives and puritans at the time. Several songs from the film are even times in the episode and the ending parodies the end credits of the film. Barry Bostwick is also an actor in this episode of Cold Case.

• The series Glee tribute to the Rocky Horror Picture Show during episode 5 of season 2, through a totally reconstructed for Halloween, and a soundtrack associated with named “The Rocky Horror Glee Show” – in which are repeated for several tubes.

• Throughout the film, the viewer sees paintings known (at the beginning of the Time Warp have seen the painting American Gothic by Grant Wood and The mona lisa by Leonardo da Vinci).

• Britney Spears pays tribute to the Rocky Horror Picture Show in her video clip “Hold It Against Me” in the 2nd verse (vers 1,38 min) with the red mouth on a black background as it sings its tube.

• The famous mouth that can be seen in the opening credits is that of Patricia Quinn, aka Magenta. The voice is that of Richard O’brien, the creator of the RHPS, which plays the role of Riff Raff.
