Coraline is a little girl who has just moved with his parents in a huge house. Always overwhelmed by work, parents never have the time to take care of their daughter. Exploring the house, Coraline discovers the existence of a door leading to a parallel world, an exact replica of his own life, but in a version that is, however, much more intriguing and interesting.

There, she meets strange characters personifying one’s own parents and neighbors, but each having the distinction of the kinds of black buttons instead of eyes. In the evening, her “Other Mother” and her “Other Father” asked him to him to wear in his turn, the famous buttons traditional, with the intention to stay in them forever. Frightened, Coraline refuses, and then decides that it would be better to go home, abandoning this world to find his will ; his “Other Parents” are nevertheless on it to come back and stay with them forever, it does not consider, of course. 13 years after the end of the first opus, the lieutenant-colonel Nascimento is now the head of BOPE.
