It was therefore necessary to wait for the third installment to the saga Twilight finally looks like some semblance of a movie. Not anything to cry victory, however, but on the whole the film looks with interest a little further than on the previous parts. This blessing we owe it to David Slade, director of Hard Candy and 30 Days Of Night, which happens to convey an atmosphere dark and violent to be interesting in the implementation of the army meant to destroy the family of Cullen. Those who had liked the beginning of 30 Days Of Night will likely notice the many commonalities between the two. David Slade has not trodden at this level, but it offers us a spectacle, which does not take certainly no more than 30 minutes if we glue the pieces end to end, but who manages to pluck us out of this lethargy in which Twilight takes us from three components already.
Because even if Hesitation raises somewhat the level of a set, pathetic and laughable at best, this component is not immune to the errors of the past. The actors are still as bad, the history is always so flat and silly. The love triangle made up of Bella, Edward and Jacob, in: dialogues at the limit of autism and situations of a debility abyssal, becomes from the first minutes of synonym for boredom. Agree, the daily life of this teenager, who does not know which one to choose between a bloodsucker and a werewolf should not be very pink and the multiple punishments engendered by a father looser must be boredom but to ensure that this boredom and this pain is passed on to the viewer, there are limits. Where a director like Jim Jarmusch we would be magnetized with a story similar to David Slade crashes into beauty.
Despite a small improvement, Twilight still suffers from too many errors, unforgivable for we really do enjoy the show (if we can call it as such). Worst is when we think that Bella is finally going to blow the piggy bank that frustration is the greatest. A movie of the adviser only to the hordes of teenage girls who have not yet shunned this saga for the benefit of another. A film that will dream the little girls but who will bring back the adult in the harsh reality of the show pop-corn bland, without favor and indigestible, which makes us even more bitterly to regret the time when even the teen-movie would be worth the glance. Our intestine will there be a new shake ? After the next episode.
