Synopsis
Jack Carter is a killer, cold and methodical, working for the “middle” of london. When he learns the death of his brother Frank, he returned to Newcastle where the latter lived, and where he grew up. He very quickly realises that despite appearances, this death was not accidental as found by the police report.
It conducts its own investigation, which disturbs the activities of Kinnear and Brumby, two clutches rivals controlling various traffic behind a façade of respectable. Carter discovers that his niece Doreen was abused in a pornographic video amateur and this is Margaret, the consort of the father of Doreen, who has played the role of rabatteuse. As he threatened to denounce the involvement of the leaders of the community in the filming of the movie, Frank Carter, was killed by Pierce, the driver of Kinnear.
Carter avenges his brother by removing the links one after the other, they have taken an active part, or they may have left to do. When he finally completed Pierce, he is shot by a hired killer launched his heels by Kinnear.
Anecdotes
A remake was made in 2000 with Sylvester Stallone in the role of Jack Carter and Michael Caine in one of Cliff Brumby.
