The pitch : television Producer parisian success, Joachim had everything – children, friends, enemies,
love and remorse, – to start afresh in America at the dawn of his forty years. He returns with a tour of strip-teaseuses “New Burlesque” to which he has been fantasizing France…Paris !
Port in port, the humour of the numbers and the curves of girls are excited about the men
as the women. And despite the impersonal hotels, their music lifts and the lack of money, the showgirls invent a world of extravagant fantasy, heat, and celebrations. But their dream of completing the tour in triumph to Paris flies to pieces : the betrayal of an old “friend” lose to Joachim the room that was promised. A brief go and return in the capital is required, that re-opens violently, the wounds of the past…
Tour was directed by Mathieu Amalric (Let them Grow up Here, Two Cages Without the Bird) with Miranda Colclasure, Suzanne Ramsey and Linda Maracini. The film is distributed by The Covenant.
Tour will be released on the screens in france on the June 30, 2010 !
