This exhibition – from 29 September 2009 to 31 January 2010 – will retrace the exceptional career of the star of the French cinema to the international, but also its influence on society, fashion, music, media, and the revolution of the status of women that she has inspired. The phenomenon Bardot has always aroused passions.
This exhibition of large-scale and very ambitious to bring all the greatest works of famous artists who have immortalised the icon of an era. We will be showing these works of photographic pictures of Sam Lévin, Robert Doisneau, Dussart, Izis etc ; paintings of Andy Warhol, Van Dongen, dresses of Paco Rabanne, Esterel, Christian Dior, pierre Balmain as well as dresses from film and many pictures of rare and unpublished.
