Ken Annakin has died at the age of 94 years…

The british director had directed films such as Robin hood, The longest Day, These Wonderful Crazy Flying In Their Funny Machines, the Battle Of The Bulge, the Call Of The Forest, The Adventures Of Fifi Strand Of Steel before finishing his career in 1992 with a film unfinished, Genghis Khan.

For the anecdote, his friend George Lucas would have named one of the heroes of Star Wars, Anakin Skywalker, in his honour.
