The fourth ceremony of the Gérard du Cinéma will be held Tuesday, may 12, at the Club Marbeuf and live on Paris Première.
Again this year, the Gérard du Cinéma will take place not on the eve of Caesar, but on the eve of the opening of the Cannes film Festival. Placed under the authority (and moral authority) of the name-symbol of heritage-French cinema (Gérard Depardieu, Gérard Jugnot, Gérard Darmon…), the Academy of Gérard and his Ceremony within have for objective to reward the most remarkable achievements of the Cinema, it being understood that the concept of “remarkable” is relative as well as the talent of Arielle Dombasle.

For the sake comprehensible objectivity, no member of the Academy has never exercised the profession of film criticism.
