Synopsis

Doug Riley and his wife Lois are distant from one another since the death of their daughter and Lois remains unable to leave her home.

During a business trip, Doug goes to a strip club where he meets Mallory (Kristen Stewart), a girl prostitute who reminds him of his own daughter. He then offers money to settle her home, explaining that he does not want to sleep with her. Mallory is suspicious, but agrees. Doug tries soon to bring order in the life of the young girl.

When his wife Lois joined him after overcoming her fears of leaving her house, she understands what he is trying to do.

The couple decided to take care of Mallory and form a family. But the girl is not going to facilitate the task of Riley.

Anecdotes

Kristen Stewart has spent a lot of time in a strip club in New Orleans named Dixie Divas to prepare for her role. Thus, she has learned the pole dancing, a form in which it takes support on the upright post. It is the same climb on stage to dance in front of the customers, but she was not undressed.
