Synopsis
The family Hess, based in Doylestown, in the county of Bucks (Pennsylvania), going through a very dark period. After the death of his wife in a road accident, the father, Graham Hess has lost faith and made his office as pastor. While working on his farm, he attempts to raise his best of his two children, Morgan and Bo, helped his younger brother Merrill, a former glory of baseball.
One morning, the small family discovers in his fields of gigantic crop circles. First, convinced of a hoax, Graham and Merrill discover that something is being spied on and lurking in their fields at night. Very soon, Hess must make the obvious : these mysterious crop circles are not the result of any chance, but the signs of an alien invasion is imminent.
Anecdotes
The film’s title is double reading : the signs in question are both the signs traced in the fields by the aliens, and the signs to informal and nourish the faith of the protagonists and guide them in their actions.
